Most of my artwork pieces are painted on a custom home built canvass frame! Each piece is very unique all the way down to the frame and even the specific screws to be used at what time. It is a very interesting and fun experience to be guided that precisely. I can say that I have experienced many times where I was guided to go to the hardware store and buy the exact pieces of wood for my new canvas frame! The straightest and cleanest ones and there is always just enough for what I need! when I first look at the stack of wood the pieces i need always stand out with a certain kind of glow. I just know those are the ones I am supposed to buy. I also get the option of building them in whatever size I needed. The sometimes they are 6"x2 1/2". I call the one's with that dimension the doors. But if you have a certain size in mind that will always work.
